Global Vice President – Middleby Petfood Processing Equipment

Middleby, a publicly traded company (NASDAQ, symbol MIDD) with decades of world leadership in high-volume processing systems for production of protein-based foods for human consumption, has now emerged as the new standard for manufacture of meat slurries for production of petfood kibble and snacks.

Our legendary portfolio of Petfood globally related brands includes Alkar, Auto-Bake, Cozzini, Maurer-Atmos and Spooner Vicars, with more to come.

We're looking for an inspired sales executive with a proven track record of success who understands the intricacies of Petfood manufacturing including its key producers and equipment suppliers / integrators. The leader of this vertical will be responsible for further developing our Petfood business globally. Position can be based - with a heavy travel schedule - either in the US or Europe.

This newly created position will build on our well established know-how and success in custom designed Petfood processing solutions. This may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a long and very rewarding career, helping Middleby achieve a leadership position in the Petfood space.

Ideal candidate will have at least five – preferably ten- years of experience in the Petfood processing industry, strong communication skills and strong drive to create a successful platform for Middleby.

  • MIG & TIG welding experience 2 years or completed 39 week welding course

  • Must be able to read and interpret complex blueprints

  • Starting wage $18.57/hr with benefits


  • Experience programming CNC machining centers and lathes.

  • Starting salary $19.31/hr with benefits

Electrical Panel Shop Technician:

  • Read electrical schematics and sub panel layout drawings

  • Follow instructions to assemble electrical panels

  • Demonstrate ability to power, wire, debug and re-wire panels

  • PLC programming or UL experience a plus.

Field Service Technician

The primary responsibility of the Field Service Technician is to support our customers in the installation, training and service of Cozzini Food Processing Equipment.  This is accomplished by performing preventative maintenance on the equipment, test as needed and overhauling equipment when necessary.  Position requires electrical control experience, along with mechanical background.  A passport for international travel is required. The Field Service Technician will also assist in performing scheduled service calls and customer assistance. 

This position is based at our home office in Chicago and will report to the Corporate Manager-Equipment Service. 


  • 2 to 5 years field service work

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment

  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems

  • Working knowledge of PLC and Panelview

  • Basic understanding of pumps and hydraulic systems

  • Extensive travel

  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
